The Hammett Prize uděluje severoamerická pobočka Mezinárodní asociace autorů detektivek International Association of Crime Writers každoročně od roku 1991 za nejlepší detektivní román, jako poctu Dashiellovi Hammettovi. Cena je udělována za román v angličtině kanadskému nebo americkému autorovi nebo autorovi s trvalým pobytem v USA nebo Kanadě. Oceněný autor získá bronzovou trofej nazvanou „Thin Man“, kterou vytvořil Peter Boiger.
